The idea of Team Today came from Andrew’s frustrations of hybrid working whilst working at a bank prior to the pandemic.
Having no visibility of whether fellow team members were going to be in the office, working from home or on holiday felt strange.
Joining forces with Robin, a Senior User Experience designer he met at the BBC they decided to try and solve the problem.
The product was launched in April 2021 with minimal marketing but is now being used daily by tens of thousands of users across 30 countries worldwide.
