Add birthdays to Team Today and help improve your office culture

How it works

Company admins can enable the sharing of birthdays in company settings as a global setting. Individual team members can then decide whether they wish to share their birthday so others can see. Once shared an icon depicting a birthday cake is added to the relevant day.

Team Today doesn't collect year of birth to ensure that unnecessary data isn't collected.

Turning on birthdays

Company admins can turn the schedule feature on by:

1. Go to Settings / Management
2. Go to Company Settings
3. Scroll down and enable birthdays

Sharing birthdays for others as an admin

Admins can update a users birthday in the users settings

1. Go to Settings / Management.
2. Go to Manage Users.
3. Search for the user in the search box.
4. Tap the edit pencil on their name
5. Scroll down and toggle share birthday on and enter day and month

Now an icon will be displayed on their birthday.

How individuals can share their own birthday

Users can decide if they want to share their birthday update in their personal preferences

1. Users can go to the Team View
2. On the right, users can tap Personal Preferences‍
3. Users can then scroll down and toggle share birthday on and enter day and month

Now an icon will be displayed on their birthday.
